James is a widely published researcher and the inventor of ceimig’s core technologies in PGM Photodeposition and Sensors.  He is also
the author of numerous patents in organo-metallic chemistry, thin film catalysis and photochemistry and has received numerous awards for academic achievement. A creative and original thinker, he leads our Company’s R&D programmes and ensures that ceimig’s customers receive the highest standards of technical service and support.
 
David Vale PhD BSc (hons)
Managing Director

David is widely experienced senior executive with an international blue chip chemical background. He has extensive experience of the precious metals business and of the international market for precious metals and their chemicals.  With his range of contacts in both the supplier and customer industries, he ensures that ceimig’s customers have continuing access to their requirements on the most advantageous terms.

New Premises
We are pleased to announce that we have secured a site on the Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate in Dundee which will allow us to expand our manufacturing capability and increase our R & D facilities. Dedicated and segregated manufacturing areas will enable us to meet and exceed our customers requirements for high purity, state of the art precious metals chemicals.

Exclusive Global Licence Granted
Ceimig has granted a global licence to InterCrossIP Management LLC, San Francisco, USA for the commercialisation of its Thin Film Deposition Technology. This technology was invented by Ceimig's Scientific Director, Dr James Thomson and he is looking forward to working with InterCrossIP in the fields of Electronics, Solar, MEMS, BIOMEMS and Medical Devices.
